Rhody Press Recap!!

We always love and are proud to get press from our home state of Rhode Island, so when RI Monthly Magazine's editor - the lovely Jamie Coelho asked to do an interview on our designer we jumped at the offer! It was so much fun... just a few months back showing Jamie around the office, introducing her to some Misters, and even giving her a glimpse into the new collection before it officially hit stores! We couldn't have described the colors of the collection better ourselves.








The magazine itself hits shelves this week, and subscriber's have already been raving about their early released copies! I got my hands on one right away, and flipped open to page 18! It's funny to think that Rhode Island's real-life bachelors will be opening up the magazine too and seeing the new most wanted guys on the market...the Misters! The subtitle says it all, Nicole's turned her handbag designing dream to a reality, but the smallest state will always have the biggest place in our hearts! Very soon, other Rhody Girls will be able to get their hands on a Mister at Sonya's boutique in Cranston, RI. It's time for our local ladies to bring your magazine man crush to life! xoxo

Which Mister's hand to hold...

You know the thought process that goes behind picking out an outfit for the night; who, what, and why you're dressing for. The clothing usually comes pretty easily, you've been thinking about that part all day... but do you ever get stuck when it comes to accessories? Well we have a number of clutches and that will be your go-to guys for multiple occasions in our Fall collection, you will no longer have to waste time speed dating through your handbag boyfriends ;) It's one of the last things you grab while you're heading out the door,  and while we stand by the fact that our bags are very versatile (you can wear them with any outfit) there are some situational factors that'll have you calling on one Mister rather than the other. Ask yourself these questions while deciding whether you're going to wear your cross body or clutch.

The decision...

• Does your top have a lot of design elements in the front, or a deep V that you may not want to cover up by going cross body?
• Which will be the perfect pop of for your simple color pallet?
• Are you wearing a lot of accessories that'll urge you to go for subtlety?
• Will your hands be full all night with say a drink? 
• Is the place you will be storing your handbag leather friendly? (Sticky bar tops just will not do!)
• Will you be coming home with more things than you left with? Size matters ladies!

ENK Vegas: Here Comes the Nostalgia

It's that time of year when New York dies down and Vegas becomes the fashion capital of the US during Magic Market Week! I'm so sad to not be missing out on the show but I can assure you that while our designer is in Vegas she's left me lots of Misters to play with. A touch of Spring on the East Coast for me during the storm, while she unveils the Fall 2014 Mister Collection in the West. The energy is always so live at ENK and of course I'll be bringing you all the details as they come. Here comes the nostalgia...the diary of a d'andrea PR girl actually began during the last trade show in August on this very laptop sitting on a balcony overlooking the strip. I can't believe how much we've grown since then... and even thinking back further to one year ago in February to our very FIRST show! We are so thankful for our first year and all our loyal customers/fans! There has been so many surprises and we have met so many great people! It's Thanksgiving week! So, you know I'll have a dose of cranberry on the side at every meal. I'm loving these new studly Mr. Lovers that arrived just in time for the holiday (pictured above.) Spending turkey day with Mr. One-Nighter? Who would have thought! But guess who I'll be most thankful for come Friday... I'll tell ya -Mr. Heartthrob and Mr. Never-Again in none other than black ;)

Happy Monday and I hope you all had an amazing Columbus Day long weekend! I couldn't take a day off from my Misters and their d'andrea lovers! Everybody's always watching in this world of fashion, it never sleeps...so I decided to let you in on some more new secrets. Now I know my usual gossip hour takes place on Fridays, but this week we have a big event in NYC and I just cant wait a whole weekend to tell you all about it! Hopefully I can try to sneak away from the party to post a little #OOTD! Let's just say the Misters will be meeting a Misses, who happens to be a housewife with amazing style, and a whole lot of gossip and drama of her own! Any guesses? No matter how many Misters follow, none will ever really fill Mr. Heart Throb’s shoes. After falling in love a few times, and in a few different cities, Nicole decided it was time to move home for a little while. With a click of her red bottoms, she realized there really is no place like home. Of course, not much has changed - and the guys remain the same. With the same jobs, the same spaces, the same group of friends, and the same old smile, and sense of humor that you just can't get enough of! Mr. Heartthrob is your comfort zone....The high school sweetheart, the quarterback, the homecoming King. And no matter what, whenever you're in his presence he'll always treat you like a Queen! So you may ask her why not him? However, while Nicole's busy designing all over the world, taking over one handbag at a time, she needs someone that can keep up, and Mr. Heartthrob is just not that guy! The Heartthrob will always be nothing more than the Home for the Holiday type...

Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closet: Part 3

It's Friday morning - the end of yet another work week and the start of a long Holiday weekend. I hope you grab your new Autumn lover Mister, and go out for some Fall festivities! If you're like me you're going to need a shot of espresso, and a little extra pumpkin in your chai to jump start today. But hold on, because your guilty pleasure is back! Friday means one more thing...and no I'm not talking about pay day...I'm talking about the 'Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closest!' If you're in a new relationship with these Misters and this is your first time stopping by this PR girl's blog, I'm revealing to you some more secrets about the boys that have inspired your new favorite collection of handbags! Trust me, you'll be fully committed, and surprised - after hearing a little more about Mr. Arrogant. As mentioned before, he's my favorite boy, the guy I'm always carrying. But I have to admit, I stole our designer's look, because he's Nicole's partner these days too. It causes some double takes at our daily lunch spot that we're always rocking the same handbag, but the Misters don't care...they love the attention!

Mr. Arrogant has A LOT of personas: a sibling, a co-worker, an old classmate. But lately, a certain ex-boyfriend has taken on the Mr. Arrogant title. Each one has a lot of similarities.Despite his bad boy impression, along with arrogance comes an Emotionally Unavailable, and Loving side to him too ;) He's a little selfish, high-maintenance, talks a big game, and put on the disappearing act for long periods of time. Although you think he just doesn't understand you, and isn't there, he always comes through at the last possible second! Even if it is by giving you a quick phone call while he's in a rushed situation. He's the guy who likes to play games; sometimes, we even joke that he's reading a manual about how to talk to girls! (There's no need to wait two full days in between each text message! If she wanted to write you a letter, she would - UPS would be faster than your responses!) Mr. Arrogant has enough of his own baggage and some room for yours too. But JUST  a little bit, because put a lot on his plate, and he'll run scared. He is the perfect Mister to have on any confident woman’s arm, because an arrogant guy, would never go for a girl that he was not proud of.

The response was amazing from all of our d'andrea lovers the first time around, so I'm back at it again to share some secrets of the past! Now, I don't mean to dish it out...but this guy's had it coming, and you know what they say "if you can't take the heat..." and yeah, this hook-up was definitely hot.  If you're new to this pr girl's blog, I'll fill you in quick. Each week, one by one I'm revealing each ex-BF these Misters are named after. The best part is that I don't have to mention any names, and these guys still know exactly who they are...Next up on my hit list: Mr. One-Nighter. Every girl's had one - that shameless rebound with the guy you pick up from the bar, while trying to get over that other guy you just can't seem to shake (in this case, if you thought the "other guy" Nicole was trying to get over was the Mr. Emotionally Unavailable-Arrogant-Lover one in mind - then you've guessed right. Side note: could this one potentially be Mr. Right-Now? Now THAT is a whole other blog post in itself!)

...buuuuuuut a rebound should stay exactly that, a rebound. No calls, no texts, no strings attached, unless of course, they are gold chains ;) Unfortunately, Nicole had to turn into this guy's guilty pleasure, and he obviously wanted to take her out every night. Nobody likes a stage 5, and guys if you're reading this - NOBODY likes that certain late night text at 1AM. Sure, one-nighters can be fun when done the right way. You are someone new and fresh with him, you can be anyone you want to be. However when it's all said in done, if he's lied about himself to seem as cool as you, you better remind him that he is definitely not! The beauty about the ONS is that you can completely make a fool of yourself and not have a care in the world. Piss him off while driving by his exit, send him that "waving" emoji with a little 'beep beep' to let him know that even when you're in town, he's still not going to be coming around! #sorrynotsorry. To be honest, I'm surprised he even has the Mister title, he isn't even saved by his real name in her phone! Now thaaaat you have to work for.

OOTD: Dressing Up with Our Designer!

We're FINALLY jumping on the "outfit of the day" bandwagon, but hey, at least we're arriving fashionably late...When my favorite designer sent me hers this weekend I knew I had to share it with you all! Nicole was rocking all of her signature essentials in one outfit for the perfect day-to-night "wedding look". Of course, she took Mr. Right Now out in black as her date.

Starting with every girl's best friend; for jewelry she's wearing a David Yurman bracelet, paired with two rings: a Chloe one in rose gold on one hand, and a original design of diamonds and sapphires on the other.

Moving on to the LBD (you can never go wrong) is none other than a James Jeans James Icon mini. It's officially Fall so you can no longer go bare-legged ladies! A rule with only one exception of course, if your boots are thigh high. Nicole chose a simple pair of tights from Vicky's Secret. No runs guaranteed!

 

....and as for the shoes, Christian Louboutin, black patent Pigalles of course ;)

FALL in Love with Our New Misters: Orange is the New Black!

There are two more days left of Summer until it's "officially" Fall - but if you're thinking like me, Fall's right on schedule. It began weeks ago when the pumpkin spice Starbucks cups took over your Instagram timeline; come on you know you're guilty too! The unbearable school bus traffic struck the streets of your city. You're devoted to your favorite TV show that's back on the air (I mean a girl could never get enough of Stephan and Damon.) You can barely shut your closet because it's overstuffed by oversized slouchy sweaters. Lastly your combat boots have been back in your closet since the day it fell just under 70 degrees.
