Girls love bad boys, but we all have to stop falling for them! I found this post while scrolling through the trendy #MCM ("Man Crush Monday") hashtag and I had to send it to our designer! Ironically, the first collection we ever launched donned many of the names mentioned above. The Mr. So and So names are connecting girls everywhere, and it's so fun that we all can agree! Are you tired of seeing all the cutesy posts of other girls boyfriends? And ladies, I know you love Channing but he's done so many more photo shoots besides that famous GQ one (plus, he's happily taken by his beautiful wife, and we don't want to be Miss Home-Wrecker now do we?)  Instead of showing off the guy that breaks your heart over and over, TODAY we want YOU to post the Mister that's breaking necks! Rhody Press Recap!!

We always love and are proud to get press from our home state of Rhode Island, so when RI Monthly Magazine's editor - the lovely Jamie Coelho asked to do an interview on our designer we jumped at the offer! It was so much fun... just a few months back showing Jamie around the office, introducing her to some Misters, and even giving her a glimpse into the new collection before it officially hit stores! We couldn't have described the colors of the collection better ourselves.








The magazine itself hits shelves this week, and subscriber's have already been raving about their early released copies! I got my hands on one right away, and flipped open to page 18! It's funny to think that Rhode Island's real-life bachelors will be opening up the magazine too and seeing the new most wanted guys on the market...the Misters! The subtitle says it all, Nicole's turned her handbag designing dream to a reality, but the smallest state will always have the biggest place in our hearts! Very soon, other Rhody Girls will be able to get their hands on a Mister at Sonya's boutique in Cranston, RI. It's time for our local ladies to bring your magazine man crush to life! xoxo

Misters in the Mountains

If it's going to continue to snow on this side of the country, we might as well make the best of it...in Vermont! We're packing up the boys and heading on a secret mission, road trip style. Personally, I've never been...but something you may not know about our designer is that she LOVES to snowboard! She's definitely had her share of memorable ski trips in the gorgeous state. Some major Mister brainstorming has come from the mountains! We'll be busy working, but a girl can't resist some new digs from local boutiques on her down time. Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closet: Part 5

Our designer Nicole was feeling a little inspired this week, and I'm sure you can guess why...because there is a new Mister to name!!! By now, we don't take any of these Misters as a loss - because you, I, and our designer receive nothing but fashionable gain (a sense that the girls these bad boys end up with could use.) When this time comes around, it's sometimes bittersweet, but always a treat for you ladies! We'd never send you in blind, unlike our designer's most recent decision for meeting her muse; so we've narrowed the choices down to two: Mr. Match and Mr. Insecure. So far, it looks like Mr. Insecure is in the lead. I guess this silly boy wasn't the only one around here letting his insecurities eat him up. We've definitely had a good laugh naming lots of handbags (all in good fun, of course) but we love turning to our d'andrea lovers for some help! What do you think? Also, if you could personalize your very own Mister with your ex-bf in mind, what would he be called? I know mine! Heartbreak on Springbreak

The only heartbreak you'll want to deal with during Spring Break! This Mr. Right Now definitely has the key to our designer's heart. Is that a hotel key I see? Mr. Oscar Winner

I heard there were a couple of Misters circulating the red carpet last night and at some fabulous parties! We're hoping they were well behaved dates. I never really liked doing "Worst Dressed" lists because I know how hard everyone works to prepare for one of the biggest nights to hit hollywood and it definitely pays off...but that doesn't mean we don't have our favorites!

 Let's start with the man of the hour Mr. Oscar Winner Matthew McConaughey in a D&G number. 

Lupita Nyong'o took everyone's breath away in this icy blue, flowy Prada dress. Our Mr. Right Now in silver would die to be her arm candy.

I know she wasn't at the actual award show, but Kim was definitely one of the best dressed of the night at Elton John's Oscar party. She finally looks so comfortable in her own skin (the red hot Celia Kritharioti obviously helps.) Since she looks so comfortable I would love to see a patent leather, black Mr. One-Nighter knotted and casually thrown over her shoulder.

Which Mister's hand to hold...

You know the thought process that goes behind picking out an outfit for the night; who, what, and why you're dressing for. The clothing usually comes pretty easily, you've been thinking about that part all day... but do you ever get stuck when it comes to accessories? Well we have a number of clutches and that will be your go-to guys for multiple occasions in our Fall collection, you will no longer have to waste time speed dating through your handbag boyfriends ;) It's one of the last things you grab while you're heading out the door,  and while we stand by the fact that our bags are very versatile (you can wear them with any outfit) there are some situational factors that'll have you calling on one Mister rather than the other. Ask yourself these questions while deciding whether you're going to wear your cross body or clutch.

The decision...

• Does your top have a lot of design elements in the front, or a deep V that you may not want to cover up by going cross body?
• Which will be the perfect pop of for your simple color pallet?
• Are you wearing a lot of accessories that'll urge you to go for subtlety?
• Will your hands be full all night with say a drink? 
• Is the place you will be storing your handbag leather friendly? (Sticky bar tops just will not do!)
• Will you be coming home with more things than you left with? Size matters ladies!

ENK Vegas: Here Comes the Nostalgia

It's that time of year when New York dies down and Vegas becomes the fashion capital of the US during Magic Market Week! I'm so sad to not be missing out on the show but I can assure you that while our designer is in Vegas she's left me lots of Misters to play with. A touch of Spring on the East Coast for me during the storm, while she unveils the Fall 2014 Mister Collection in the West. The energy is always so live at ENK and of course I'll be bringing you all the details as they come. Here comes the nostalgia...the diary of a d'andrea PR girl actually began during the last trade show in August on this very laptop sitting on a balcony overlooking the strip. I can't believe how much we've grown since then... and even thinking back further to one year ago in February to our very FIRST show! We are so thankful for our first year and all our loyal customers/fans! There has been so many surprises and we have met so many great people! It's never the same at the office when our designer leaves the East Coast to head out to the factory in LA. Sure, the Manhattan Beach sunset iMessages I get every night are great, but nothing beats the sneak peeks that pop up on my phone of next month's collection. I'm seeing red! The transformation of these boys becoming men amazes me ;) Above is a before and after shot of Mr. Right Now... he came a long way from a simple little sketch. He's finally taken his form, in the shape of a hard clutch! We can't wait for you to see more (and I can't wait to get my hands on one of these red hots!) The studs aren't going anywhere, xoxo.

Walking With Your Mister in a Winter Wonderland

What did you do over the weekend? I took my favorite handbag walking in a winter wonderland! As the snow began to fall, I fell deeper in love with my Mister. There's nothing like a snow day with your main man. You probably know that d'andrea handbags are made up of the finest Italian cow and lamb skin. So, we are often asked a few questions about how to care for your new leather boyfriends. Well, I've got the answers! And, you may be surprised to hear that these bad boys have tougher skin than they do feelings ;)

A few tips...

1. Always store him in your d'andrea dustbag.

2. NEVER keep him in plastic!

3. Invest in a good leather conditioner.

4. Remember, leather has imperfections - a sure way to tell that it is real - however, keeping him in the sun too long may cause some discoloration/fading. 

5. Wet spots/oil spills/grease mishaps, don't worry! A dry cloth will be your best friend! Do not rub, but simply blot to absorb.

Maniac Monday

It's always a manic Monday, but today - it's become a Maniac Monday! A new guilty pleasure is reading the Pittsburgh quintessential guide to fashion and style. If you've been following us for a while, you'd know that Pittsburgh holds great meaning behind a lot of these Misters! I love this quote from the article in Maniac Magazine The Mister Collection by d'andrea handbags: "Show me a woman who doesn't love a handbag and I'll show you a liar." Well, if you do happen to love a good handbag, we could also show you a few more liars. They go by the names of Mr. Player, Mr. Arrogant, Mr. Stalker and Mr. Never-Again!

It's Thanksgiving week! So, you know I'll have a dose of cranberry on the side at every meal. I'm loving these new studly Mr. Lovers that arrived just in time for the holiday (pictured above.) Spending turkey day with Mr. One-Nighter? Who would have thought! But guess who I'll be most thankful for come Friday... I'll tell ya -Mr. Heartthrob and Mr. Never-Again in none other than black ;)
