We've recently switched headquarters and everyone's been asking about our new location. It's not always easy for an artist to switch perspectives but ours looks like she's adapting just fine. One thing that always looks the same wherever the Misters lead us: the d'andrea design desk! Misters, d's, swatches, sketches, calendars, binders on top of binders, post-its, a phone (from the 90s that no one knows how to use, ha!) chain, leather, pliers, scissors, sharpies, and glue pretty much sums it up. Hmm... it looks like Nicole's working on a new project! How does she focus with all those boys hanging out at her desk, xoxo.

Mr. Graduate

It's graduation week and whether you're leaving high school or college it's a huge milestone! It feels like just yesterday I was walking that stage, and now I have the job I've always dreamed of :) We just wanted to say CONGRATS to all of you from the Misters and the d'andrea team. Road Trip Diaries: Views, and Blues

Mr. Never Again and our designer hit the city of New Orleans where they spent their time sightseeing when they weren't in and out of meetings. In case you missed it I posted our designer's #OOTD on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/dandreahandbags. The fashion is so different down South due to the heat! Speaking of heat...before they began their love affair in Louisiana, they made a lil Miami pit stop. The Misters couldn't help but #PartyInTheCity! I mean it is their birth right ;) Every girl and her guy need a break once and a while.

Things our designer is loving about the South: views and the blues. She is drawing so much inspiration for the Spring line while on this trip. It is amazing how much different atmospheres and placing yourself in new environments you've never been in can change your whole vision. But her eyes are always on these Misters. Before you know it they'll be in Texas and their handbags won't be the only thing suited in leather, xoxo.

Road Trip Diaries: Run Mr. Never-Again Run!

This trip has got our designer finally spending time with the wild card Mr. Never-Again; rekindling their love affair! Most women swear him off for good and our designer is no different. But, these spikes will always have fashionistas coming back for more. If you follow Nicole on her Instagram (@MisterCollection) you will know she's usually seen carrying Mr. Precarious or Mr. Right Now...however for the last couple of days she's filled me in that she's falling hard for this bad boy. The best thing about our Misters is that WE'RE the ones with the power to run (or hide in the back of your closet) away. So go ahead and try it...run Mr. Never-Again run! xoxo

Road Trip Diaries: misterhood of the traveling handbags

Four cities in just four days. These two d'andrea girls and their Misters are crushing it on their road trip this week. This journey started off in Raleigh and the new Carolina ladies quickly moved to Charleston. From there they headed to the beautiful island of Hilton Head. That same night they headed down to Savannah, Georgia just in time for Fashion Week. I'm missing the Misters, but are loving their success! I think we got some southern belles on these Misters hands. Next stop: bring on the Miami heat! xoxo

Happy Easter!

Double date on Church Street

We took a mini road trip to Burlington, Vermont where we went on a double date with our Misters to Church Street! We love little artsy streets in hidden towns packed with high fashion! The shopping, the sounds, and the sunsets from different points of views is what I love most about traveling. I donned Mr. One-Nighter in camel, and Nicole went with her go-to guy Mr. Precarious in all black (both paired with leather jackets!) We snuck into the candy store on the street where we found some arm candy! I have such a sweet tooth... mmm I'll take some of that ;) A very successful trip and so much fun; can't wait to share the many reasons why we were there, xoxo.

We Shop Style and Misters!

I found this while scrolling through one of my favorite sites www.shopstyle.com. The girl in this photo is Manners and Moxie who is one of our favorite bloggers! Nicole met Nicole (what a coincidence!) at last year's LuckyFabb conference where she fell madly for Mr. Player. Soon after she began an affair with Mr. One-Nighter shown in the bottom right corner! A few updates!

Just a few updates to fill all of our d'andrea lovers in on! 

We will be releasing our Fall '14 look book soon. Here is a preview for your eyes only :) I said it before and I'll say it again: our designer and our graphics girl make a killer team. And who does this gorgeous model remind you of? Hint... she's one of our designer's favorite fashion icons.

We are now selling at Sonya's Clothing. There are still some Misters available...here's a snapshot of Sonya's daughter's latest Insatagram post. You may have to fight her for Mr. Right Now ;) Come one come all!! Which reminds me... be sure to follow our NEW Instagram account @MisterCollection.

Shopping to Support Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Last night we attended an event at Sonya's Clothing boutique in our home state! It was so much fun seeing our Misters on display for the local ladies who couldn't take their hands off of them. Mr. Right Now of course stole the show and a few lucky ladies even went home with him. The husbands of Rhode Island are going to be some very jealous men! But they weren't the only stars...the gorgeous little girls who rocked Toni Lynn Spaziano's 'Mommy and Me' collection killed it on the run way!! There was an absolutely gorgeous candy display, and some champagne that tempted us all night! See our designer showing off her studs (oh and do NOT forget to note that new hair ;) 10% of proceeds went to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, we always support getting out and shopping for a great cause, xoxo.

Girls love bad boys, but we all have to stop falling for them! I found this post while scrolling through the trendy #MCM ("Man Crush Monday") hashtag and I had to send it to our designer! Ironically, the first collection we ever launched donned many of the names mentioned above. The Mr. So and So names are connecting girls everywhere, and it's so fun that we all can agree! Are you tired of seeing all the cutesy posts of other girls boyfriends? And ladies, I know you love Channing but he's done so many more photo shoots besides that famous GQ one (plus, he's happily taken by his beautiful wife, and we don't want to be Miss Home-Wrecker now do we?)  Instead of showing off the guy that breaks your heart over and over, TODAY we want YOU to post the Mister that's breaking necks! The handbag that makes you pull down your aviators to get a better look... The Misters are taking #MCM and turning it into #MisterCrushMonday and trust me, there is #NoFilterNeeded, xoxo.

Rhody Press Recap!!

We always love and are proud to get press from our home state of Rhode Island, so when RI Monthly Magazine's editor - the lovely Jamie Coelho asked to do an interview on our designer we jumped at the offer! It was so much fun... just a few months back showing Jamie around the office, introducing her to some Misters, and even giving her a glimpse into the new collection before it officially hit stores! We couldn't have described the colors of the collection better ourselves.








The magazine itself hits shelves this week, and subscriber's have already been raving about their early released copies! I got my hands on one right away, and flipped open to page 18! It's funny to think that Rhode Island's real-life bachelors will be opening up the magazine too and seeing the new most wanted guys on the market...the Misters! The subtitle says it all, Nicole's turned her handbag designing dream to a reality, but the smallest state will always have the biggest place in our hearts! Very soon, other Rhody Girls will be able to get their hands on a Mister at Sonya's boutique in Cranston, RI. It's time for our local ladies to bring your magazine man crush to life! xoxo

Misters in the Mountains

If it's going to continue to snow on this side of the country, we might as well make the best of it...in Vermont! We're packing up the boys and heading on a secret mission, road trip style. Personally, I've never been...but something you may not know about our designer is that she LOVES to snowboard! She's definitely had her share of memorable ski trips in the gorgeous state. Some major Mister brainstorming has come from the mountains! We'll be busy working, but a girl can't resist some new digs from local boutiques on her down time. Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closet: Part 5

Our designer Nicole was feeling a little inspired this week, and I'm sure you can guess why...because there is a new Mister to name!!! By now, we don't take any of these Misters as a loss - because you, I, and our designer receive nothing but fashionable gain (a sense that the girls these bad boys end up with could use.) When this time comes around, it's sometimes bittersweet, but always a treat for you ladies! We'd never send you in blind, unlike our designer's most recent decision for meeting her muse; so we've narrowed the choices down to two: Mr. Match and Mr. Insecure. So far, it looks like Mr. Insecure is in the lead. I guess this silly boy wasn't the only one around here letting his insecurities eat him up. We've definitely had a good laugh naming lots of handbags (all in good fun, of course) but we love turning to our d'andrea lovers for some help! What do you think? Also, if you could personalize your very own Mister with your ex-bf in mind, what would he be called? I know mine! Heartbreak on Springbreak

The only heartbreak you'll want to deal with during Spring Break! This Mr. Right Now definitely has the key to our designer's heart. Is that a hotel key I see? Where are you headed on a getaway to during your vacation? And more importantly which handbag are you taking with you? You know our (many) bags are always packed! And with Mr. Arrogant on my arm, I don't know if I'll ever look back! Make sure you read our guide to traveling in style:

Mr. Oscar Winner

I heard there were a couple of Misters circulating the red carpet last night and at some fabulous parties! We're hoping they were well behaved dates. I never really liked doing "Worst Dressed" lists because I know how hard everyone works to prepare for one of the biggest nights to hit hollywood and it definitely pays off...but that doesn't mean we don't have our favorites!

 Let's start with the man of the hour Mr. Oscar Winner Matthew McConaughey in a D&G number. 

Lupita Nyong'o took everyone's breath away in this icy blue, flowy Prada dress. Our Mr. Right Now in silver would die to be her arm candy.

I know she wasn't at the actual award show, but Kim was definitely one of the best dressed of the night at Elton John's Oscar party. She finally looks so comfortable in her own skin (the red hot Celia Kritharioti obviously helps.) Since she looks so comfortable I would love to see a patent leather, black Mr. One-Nighter knotted and casually thrown over her shoulder.

Which Mister's hand to hold...

You know the thought process that goes behind picking out an outfit for the night; who, what, and why you're dressing for. The clothing usually comes pretty easily, you've been thinking about that part all day... but do you ever get stuck when it comes to accessories? Well we have a number of clutches and that will be your go-to guys for multiple occasions in our Fall collection, you will no longer have to waste time speed dating through your handbag boyfriends ;) It's one of the last things you grab while you're heading out the door,  and while we stand by the fact that our bags are very versatile (you can wear them with any outfit) there are some situational factors that'll have you calling on one Mister rather than the other. Ask yourself these questions while deciding whether you're going to wear your cross body or clutch.

The decision...

• Does your top have a lot of design elements in the front, or a deep V that you may not want to cover up by going cross body?
• Which will be the perfect pop of for your simple color pallet?
• Are you wearing a lot of accessories that'll urge you to go for subtlety?
• Will your hands be full all night with say a drink? 
• Is the place you will be storing your handbag leather friendly? (Sticky bar tops just will not do!)
• Will you be coming home with more things than you left with? Size matters ladies!

ENK Vegas: Here Comes the Nostalgia

It's that time of year when New York dies down and Vegas becomes the fashion capital of the US during Magic Market Week! I'm so sad to not be missing out on the show but I can assure you that while our designer is in Vegas she's left me lots of Misters to play with. A touch of Spring on the East Coast for me during the storm, while she unveils the Fall 2014 Mister Collection in the West. The energy is always so live at ENK and of course I'll be bringing you all the details as they come. Here comes the nostalgia...the diary of a d'andrea PR girl actually began during the last trade show in August on this very laptop sitting on a balcony overlooking the strip. I can't believe how much we've grown since then... and even thinking back further to one year ago in February to our very FIRST show! We are so thankful for our first year and all our loyal customers/fans! There has been so many surprises and we have met so many great people! In lieu of New York Fashion Week I thought it'd be fun to throwback some pictures from last September's event! Mood Handbags

Feeling a lil blue lately? It just seems like it's one of those weeks where time is moving by slowly! Seemingly to be the calm before the storm, as next week the craziness is about to begin in the fashion world. Not only is New York Fashion Week kicking off this Thursday, but the launch of our new collection is slowly approaching. But, how amazing is this new color? What I like about this type of blue leather is that with different metal accents, the color becomes more richer...almost purple! Different lighting brings out the different shades. The minute I saw Mr. Never-Again in person, I knew he had my heart and that I wasn't getting it back any time soon. It's as if there is a handbag in this Mister Collection to match every mood you're in... in my case, it's all the more reason for this girl to get more handbags ;) xoxo.
