It's always a manic Monday, but today - it's become a Maniac Monday! A new guilty pleasure is reading the Pittsburgh quintessential guide to fashion and style. If you've been following us for a while, you'd know that Pittsburgh holds great meaning behind a lot of these Misters! I love this quote from the article in Maniac Magazine The Mister Collection by d'andrea handbags: "Show me a woman who doesn't love a handbag and I'll show you a liar." Well, if you do happen to love a good handbag, we could also show you a few more liars. They go by the names of Mr. Player, Mr. Arrogant, Mr. Stalker and Mr. Never-Again!

I love this feature by Jenna Pelletier from Sunday morning's The Providence Journal newspaper on Nicole D'Andrea and her fabulous Mister Collection. This article was an exciting one because it took place in her home state of Rhode Island, where our designer was born and raised! It was great to introduce Jenna, a fellow Rhody girl to these bad boys and see her really have fun with the names! 

That's the main message behind these bags... besides a great quality product - we bring you ladies a collection you're able to easily relate to. Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closet: Part 4

Happy Monday and I hope you all had an amazing Columbus Day long weekend! I couldn't take a day off from my Misters and their d'andrea lovers! Everybody's always watching in this world of fashion, it never sleeps...so I decided to let you in on some more new secrets. Now I know my usual gossip hour takes place on Fridays, but this week we have a big event in NYC and I just cant wait a whole weekend to tell you all about it! Hopefully I can try to sneak away from the party to post a little #OOTD! Let's just say the Misters will be meeting a Misses, who happens to be a housewife with amazing style, and a whole lot of gossip and drama of her own! Any guesses? No matter how many Misters follow, none will ever really fill Mr. Heart Throb’s shoes. After falling in love a few times, and in a few different cities, Nicole decided it was time to move home for a little while. With a click of her red bottoms, she realized there really is no place like home. Of course, not much has changed - and the guys remain the same. With the same jobs, the same spaces, the same group of friends, and the same old smile, and sense of humor that you just can't get enough of! Mr. Heartthrob is your comfort zone....The high school sweetheart, the quarterback, the homecoming King. And no matter what, whenever you're in his presence he'll always treat you like a Queen! So you may ask her why not him? However, while Nicole's busy designing all over the world, taking over one handbag at a time, she needs someone that can keep up, and Mr. Heartthrob is just not that guy! The Heartthrob will always be nothing more than the Home for the Holiday type...

It's Friday morning - the end of yet another work week and the start of a long Holiday weekend. I hope you grab your new Autumn lover Mister, and go out for some Fall festivities! If you're like me you're going to need a shot of espresso, and a little extra pumpkin in your chai to jump start today. But hold on, because your guilty pleasure is back! Friday means one more thing...and no I'm not talking about pay day...I'm talking about the 'Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closest!' If you're in a new relationship with these Misters and this is your first time stopping by this PR girl's blog, I'm revealing to you some more secrets about the boys that have inspired your new favorite collection of handbags! Trust me, you'll be fully committed, and surprised - after hearing a little more about Mr. Arrogant. As mentioned before, he's my favorite boy, the guy I'm always carrying. But I have to admit, I stole our designer's look, because he's Nicole's partner these days too. It causes some double takes at our daily lunch spot that we're always rocking the same handbag, but the Misters don't care...they love the attention!

Mr. Arrogant has A LOT of personas: a sibling, a co-worker, an old classmate. But lately, a certain ex-boyfriend has taken on the Mr. Arrogant title. Each one has a lot of similarities.Despite his bad boy impression, along with arrogance comes an Emotionally Unavailable, and Loving side to him too ;) He's a little selfish, high-maintenance, talks a big game, and put on the disappearing act for long periods of time. Although you think he just doesn't understand you, and isn't there, he always comes through at the last possible second! Even if it is by giving you a quick phone call while he's in a rushed situation. He's the guy who likes to play games; sometimes, we even joke that he's reading a manual about how to talk to girls! (There's no need to wait two full days in between each text message! If she wanted to write you a letter, she would - UPS would be faster than your responses!) Mr. Arrogant has enough of his own baggage and some room for yours too. But JUST  a little bit, because put a lot on his plate, and he'll run scared. He is the perfect Mister to have on any confident woman’s arm, because an arrogant guy, would never go for a girl that he was not proud of.

Boston Fashion Week: Models and Misters

Most of these Misters are true Bostonians at heart – Did you know that some of Nicole’s greatest loves were born in this city!? So, in honor of Boston Fashion Week, as it comes to an end, I thought I'd share how these boys celebrated their time…one word: Models! We spent October 2nd and 3rd at the Emerald Lounge inside the Revere Hotel partying it up VIP style. The runway was heating up with the hottest trends to come in SP14 that were hand selected from CKP Showroom on Newbury Street! I caught this steamy love affair between these gorgeous models and their new arm candy all on camera! Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closet: Part 2

The response was amazing from all of our d'andrea lovers the first time around, so I'm back at it again to share some secrets of the past! Now, I don't mean to dish it out...but this guy's had it coming, and you know what they say "if you can't take the heat..." and yeah, this hook-up was definitely hot.  If you're new to this pr girl's blog, I'll fill you in quick. Each week, one by one I'm revealing each ex-BF these Misters are named after. The best part is that I don't have to mention any names, and these guys still know exactly who they are...Next up on my hit list: Mr. One-Nighter. Every girl's had one - that shameless rebound with the guy you pick up from the bar, while trying to get over that other guy you just can't seem to shake (in this case, if you thought the "other guy" Nicole was trying to get over was the Mr. Emotionally Unavailable-Arrogant-Lover one in mind - then you've guessed right. Side note: could this one potentially be Mr. Right-Now? Now THAT is a whole other blog post in itself!)

...buuuuuuut a rebound should stay exactly that, a rebound. No calls, no texts, no strings attached, unless of course, they are gold chains ;) Unfortunately, Nicole had to turn into this guy's guilty pleasure, and he obviously wanted to take her out every night. Nobody likes a stage 5, and guys if you're reading this - NOBODY likes that certain late night text at 1AM. Sure, one-nighters can be fun when done the right way. You are someone new and fresh with him, you can be anyone you want to be. However when it's all said in done, if he's lied about himself to seem as cool as you, you better remind him that he is definitely not! The beauty about the ONS is that you can completely make a fool of yourself and not have a care in the world. Piss him off while driving by his exit, send him that "waving" emoji with a little 'beep beep' to let him know that even when you're in town, he's still not going to be coming around! #sorrynotsorry. To be honest, I'm surprised he even has the Mister title, he isn't even saved by his real name in her phone! Now thaaaat you have to work for.

Secrets of the Bad Boys in Your Closest: Part 1

Current relationship status? My heart is currently taken...and sometimes breaking...by all the bad boy Misters in my closet! But I'm not the only one with a closet full of studs. Some of you may be wondering "why the misters?" or "how does Nicole come up with the names?" and the most frequently asked "does she really have THAT many ex-boyfriends?" Though it's already been revealed that Mr. Emotionally Unavailable, Mr. Arrogant, and Mr. Lover are all named after the same guy...I've finally got the go ahead to reveal to you some more secrets about the boys that have inspired your new favorite collection of handbags! You may be surprised to know that some of them aren't even named after ex-boyfriends! There may have been another lucky guy in Nicole's life who became her muse. I can't lie, some days we spend hours at the fabulous d'andrea office gossiping, sharing secrets, and swapping stories...and hers are too good not to tell! Every couple of blog posts I will reveal the origin behind one bag, before you've been introduced to every single one of these Misters! Up first in the hot seat: Mr. Stalker.

Mr. Stalker is the guy Nicole's fallen in love with a few times, but every time he just leaves her wondering "why?" Mr. Stalker's been stalking for so long that he's earned his Mister title. I hear this doesn't make the original d'andrea Misters happy....because they aren't fans of this bad boy either! Boys will be boys, and brothers will always try and protect their sisters! (Shhh, we don't mention him by name when they're around...) He's the guy who makes you want to turn the "read" off on your Iphone, the one who makes you slam that same phone back into your handbag at the nail salon, and opt for a magazine instead - oh, and don't forget those blocked calls you get every Saturday night! He's the type who you only keep around for when you're desperate for a date to a wedding, because you know he'll come running with a snap of a finger...that he's been dying to put a ring on! But, even sometimes his stalker-ish tendencies can't help but leave a girl secretly flattered.
